this is quite sad

My girlfriend does all these things (is shy, overly thin, wears glasses, doesn’t wear makeup, wears boyish clothes, has really plain and messy hair, etc.)  and I find her incredibly adorable and attractive and interesting.  So fuck all those haters.  People who put others down for these reasons are probably doing it because they are insecure with their own looks.  They go to all the trouble to improve their own appearance only to be jealous of people who were fine with how they looked and didn’t waste all that time messing with their appearance because they were too busy being awesome.  Then they feel like they need to force their insecurities on those people.
